Passing the Skills Tests
- Students are required to pass a Skills Test with 80% proficiency before taking each of the written exams.
- Any student who passes the Skills Test on or before the deadline will receive 10 points.
- If the deadline is missed, the Skills Test will be worth only 5 points.
- Students are limited to attempting a Skills Test only twice in a 30 minute period.
Preparing for the Skills Tests
- Study the questions found in the Supplementary Study Guide.
- Once you have studied them so that you are well-prepared, you should come to the KAP Math Lab in Room 323 Strong to take the test.
- The tests are administered by computer and consist of a random set of 15 questions, similar to the questions you have studied.
- You may take the Skills test any time during the hours of operation.
