Dear Friends,

Today is Thanksgiving Holiday in USA, this is a beautiful holiday, very meaningful one. There is no better time than today to thank you for your work, for your friendship and for your outstanding service to the control community.

I am very grateful to you for your collaboration and for your support. To those of you in the USA, I wish you Happy Thanksgiving -- to those outside: I wish you all the best and I recommend that you will take a moment to think about those to whom you are thankful and grateful. Take a moment and write to them a thank you note or call them and thank them. It gives such a great feeling when you thank each other, when we recognize contributions of others to our life and our success.

I will take this opportunity and share some updates.

First: I will be happy to reappoint each of you if you wish to stay on this committee. If you decide to continue your service as a member of this Committee please provide the following:

1. Updated affiliation that includes your e-mail address and link to your web page.
   
   
2. Your updated short bio ( about one page, see my short bio in attachment below).
   
   
3. Your photo.
   
   
4. Your proposal for your contribution to this committee, new initiatives are particularly welcome. If I don't hear from you I will assume that you resign from the committee.

Second: I appointed 4 students who have participated in a few previous Workshops for High School Students and who prepared the program for mini conference at the ACC'05 in Portland Oregon see the draft of the announcement in the attachment.
