SCHEDULE OF EXAMS: Exam 1, Thursday, February 21; Exam 2, Thursday, April 10; Final Exam, Tuesday, May 13, 10:30am - 1:00pm.
HOMEWORK POLICY: Homework will be assigned every class period and will be turned in at the start of class each Thursday. Fold your homework length-wise and please keep your name on the inside of your paper. As a rule, late homework will not be accepted.
Arm chair philosophy : Mathematics has a language of it own, and like learning a language, one must work at mathematics daily to be fluent. Try to spend some time each day either working problems, reading your text or just comtemplating things we've talked about in class. Even if you're clever enough to succeed by just cramming for the exams and doing homework at the last minute, you won't really get maximum benefit from the learning experience unless you are engaged on a regular basis.
