Grading:
Homework - 20%
In class exams (2) - 40%
Final - 40%

Goals:
(1) become familiar with solution techniques for linear systems and eigenvalue calculations,
(2) learn mathematical concept of linear independence,
(3) become familiar and hopefully adept at simple proof techniques.
