Chapter 4 - Solution of Nonlinear Equations
Chapters 5 and 6 - Numerical Integration and Solution of Differential Equations
Grading:
Homework - 10%
In class exams (3) - 60%
Final project - 30%
Goals:
(1) become familiar with basic concepts of MATLAB programming,
(2) learn basic numerical techniques and theory behind them,
(3) develop skills in scientific computing.
