KU Mathematics Prize Competition 2008

The 26th Annual KU Mathematics Prize Competition was held on Monday, March 31, 2008. Nineteen students participated. The winners were as follows:

Senior Competition (open to all KU undergraduates):

• First Prize: Phil Regier
• Second Prize: Nick Tobaben
• Third Prize: Luis Vargas

Junior Competition (open to all KU undergraduates without senior standing):

• First Prize (tie): Daniel Horna and Han Shen
• Third Prize: Eric Colangelo
• Fourth Prize: Xiao Liang

Congratulations to all the winners! The prizes will be awarded at the annual Mathematics Honors Banquet on April 23.
