I am a researcher, my field is mathematical statistics, probability theory and information theory. I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics at University of Kansas. I was with the School of Mathematics at Georgia Institute of Technology for two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor. I received the Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics in 2005, my thesis advisor was Professor Imre Csiszár. I graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
